It's likely to be the result of wrong permissions on the device file, or maybe
you need to add the freeswitch user to a group that has permission to access
the device file.

I don't have access to Sangoma hardware, so I don't know what the device files
are, but this should be documented somewhere, or perhaps it is noted in your
kernel logs.
