The tests I would be inclined to do are: 1/ Test new (and old, i.e. combined audio streams) functionality on Linux and Win32. 2/ Look for good quality scatter diagram (nice tight spots) on full duplex analog loopback (connect the mic (from radio) to speaker (to radio) using patch lead). 3/ Separate streams may have some impact on the demod timing estimation. Take a look at the timing estimation plot, look for loss of sync, and measure BER in analog loopback for a few minutes (should be 0). There is a test mode that enables test data frames to check BER.
