Hi all, I've just managed to get the SM1000 to store settings using its internal flash.
This includes things like having a preferred start-up mode so the unit can default to running in FreeDV 1600 for example. There is a factory reset procedure: hold down BACK while powering on. It'll beep for one second and flash the SYNC LED. Let go and it'll boot up normally. There is a somewhat buggy firmware image here: http://stuartl.longlandclan.id.au/freedv/sm1000/sm1000-r2396.bin I'm aware of a bug where the tones get "stuck" for a bit, I'll try to sort that out later, not at this hour of the night. -- Stuart Longland (aka Redhatter, VK4MSL) I haven't lost my mind... ...it's backed up on a tape somewhere. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ _______________________________________________ Freetel-codec2 mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/freetel-codec2
