Yeah, but hams are in general,  not bandwidth limited, in general, so no real need to go with a smaller eye.

In fact nFSK modes have the best sensitivity/ simplicity. (IE where bandwidth  >> bitrate)

like MFSK16, various HF modes, WSJT and variants etc.
where  if you are not familiar with this, one of 64 discrete tones, (for example) represents 6 bits at a time.
