the filter is great but in practice you are unlikely to do better than
about -30dB for the 'sidebands' (intermods) without careful linearization.

One thing I was interested in was the FIR filter, and it looks like
the filter is doing quite an amazing job. I kept the picture size
small for email, but the top spectrum sidebands are down about 60 dB
on the top, and 90 dB on the bottom. Pretty clean.
