agreed but the vocoder is lots of work for most small CPUs in desktop radios...
I'd doubt there would be enough to go around to include the CODEC2 vocoder in most of them.
suggest an castanellated or 1.27mm header tiny PCB with a rx1020/STM32H7 on it.
