Wow... Lost a bit more than I did a couple of years ago. I had a lightning surge come in through my cable and I use cable internet. Fried my cable modem, Mikrotik cloud router switch, traveled through the ethernet and killed my Roku, Home Theater receiver, fried the Ethernet port on my desktop (and the USB ports nearby), Killed the BIOS but I had a Gigabyte dual bios MB so it's still working as a HTPC but got the CAT port in my FT-450D via my desktop... About $1200 USD, not enough to claim on the homeowners insurance.
