I've been watching the PR with interest and have taken the plunge with a couple
of SM1000's to play along with. A huge thanks again to the everyone who helped
get to this point.
As far as use cases go, I'm going to try and put these to use with some old
QMAC HF-90's for deep bush bashing type work where you really don't want to
drag a computer. SSB is pretty average at the best of times (plus lots of
compromised antennas) so it is exciting to see how 1600 and 700D might go in
the same conditions.
