sorry, I mean (non sensible) array access of codec2 causing cache thrashing...

it has been a while since I was across the codec2 code.

One thing for sure, do not step backward through an array with the M7, bad for cache misses...

No thrashing that I can tell with the ESP-DSP library. I mean, it's performant.
