Well I finally had some time and I got my SM1000 flashed and connected up to my FT-991A.
No one else out there on 14.236 at the time so I still need to get a full QSO to verify everything is working properly. The arm compiler tools work great on Fedora so I didn't have to download the separate one. All I had handy were some breadboard wires so I hope I didn't damage the holes but worst case I'll cut them down a little bit and just keep them in the SM1000. Right now they're a little too tall to put the "lid" back on :) Thanks, Richard KF5OIM
