Thanks Walter, wow that M17 project is really getting popular. I just took a look at the Codec 2 3200 mode, I recall it was something I knocked up in a few hours - the date is 2012!
Does sound pretty good, I hadn't listened to it for a while. Since then I've spent most of my time messing around at lower bit rates. It shows what the core sinusoidal codec is capable of if the we get the amplitude quantitation right.
