This would be better posted on the M17 reflector, but the TR-9 will be able
to access M17 repeaters and hotspots, the same way DMR, YSF, Dstar, etc..
does today.

Jonathan has already created the pistar code for the MMDVM and hotspot
boards, and it's currently being used in test today.

I hope we see a formally released version of that in a few short weeks to
come.

The gateway code is also being used right now, to allow a DMR radio to go
into a hotspot, and out to the M17 network on M17-BRO, module W as I recall.
But Doug-AD8DP can clarify that for you.

All the best,

Walter/K5WH

Subject: [Freetel-codec2] How does a TR-9 radio connect to the M17 network

Hi guys,

Am I missing something?

Looking at the M17 website, we have the "mvoice", "dudestar" and "droidstar"
apps but I see no way for a TR-9 transceiver to connect, either Rx or Tx, to
the M17 network.
