In response to, "I imagine you know more about this process having
designed a few logos." I'm not a professional. My process was basically,
someone tells me what they would like in their logo, and then I design it
with more "Pizazz." I never had experience with corporate "things." But I
can design logos. 😅
In terms of ideas, I noticed that MP3, OPUS, AAC, etc. have their own logo,
however, Codec 2 has no logo, which is why I decided to try and help make
one. However, I will attempt to answer your questions to the best of
my ability.
* "What the Codec 2 project is about" - The Codec 2 Project is an audio
codec that works well with voices, and makes audio files that are very
small.*
* "What we would like a log to show" - I had this idea, that since Codec
2 is used for ShortWave, I thought that a globe with the text (Codec 2)
wrapped around it feels right. However, my ideas might not be the same as
yours.*
* "Where it will be used" - Software that uses Codec 2 has that Icon
probably when browsing .c2 files. The website. Companies that feature it.
I'm not really sure.*
*As I mentioned, I have no experience with professionalism. 😀*
