I‘m creating and using precompiled libcodec2 versions for different systems and architectures for the FreeDATA project

Just have a look at the build_Multiplattform GitHub action artifacts while you are logged in to GitHub. Maybe that’s what you are looking for?

Hi Tom,

Yeah, you'll need development tools installed in order to build on Windows. At the present time we aren't generating Windows builds except as part of the FreeDV Windows application, but doing so in the future is something we can evaluate.

Thanks,

i tried to find information about c2enc and c2dec online, but i couldn't find anything that i understand enough to do it, so i think you should make a native encoder for codec2 that i can use with ffmpeg

the real reason why it didn't help me is because it didn't work

Hi Tom,

Have you checked out the instructions at https://github.com/drowe67/codec2/blob/master/README.md (section "Building for Windows on a Linux machine" or "Building for Windows on a Windows machine")?

Thanks,

Hi Tom.

Are you referring to just the Codec2 library or did you want to install the FreeDV application itself? If the former, you should be able to use MinGW to compile it as that's what we use for Windows builds of the FreeDV application.

Thanks,
