Chuck Gartland has a pure FT2 dev site up at:
http://www.chaosmailorder.com/cgi-bin/htdocs/index.cgi
Chuck has done some cool integration work with what I think is PHPNuke and
Ft (?Version?) at www.chaosmailorder.com (which is live, BTW)
There is another dev site up at (forgive me for not knowing the name of the
person):
http://lab2.com.au/ft2-index.php
The lab2 site has a few skus.
I have a FT1.x site up an running at www.bigskybrew.com
There are many other FT 1.x sites you can find by combing the list.
I will have a product catalog done in about 3 weeks but it will be a heavily
modified FT2 with the commerce disabled, search engine indexable urls, bla
bla bla.
As far as the FT2 episode goes, I'm just bumbling around, trying to help
out where I can (whether I actually help is another question entirely).
Most of the people on this list know A LOT more than I do. Search the
archives and post your questions. They usually get answered. If you are
just getting started with free trade, you might want to go with the latest
stable version. You can spend your time understanding the FT structures
instead of worrying about bugs.
I am a big fan of Free Trade. The more time I spend with it, the easier it
gets. I have learned a ton working with this project.
Good luck.
