I tried with MINGLIU.TTC and there is no such problem (freetype 2.1.10 and CVS). But the strokes are thiner than yours. To test if it's a bug of freetype, you can use ftview, by $ ftview -e unic -f 23478 <pixel_size> MINGLIU.TTC -- Regards, olv
