That's great. I was advocating SMP. I was last at vms the day we shipped the last of version 5.5 in late 92. So I was there was 32 bit stuff an no 64 bit stuff.

The more recent kernel books describe SMP, and I did implement that. No ASMP support there, because the PC is not ASMP.
