game support is currently inconvienent. It would be really nice if freevo allowed the user to specify game commands and what file extensions they can run. Then when the user goes into the game menu it will show the games dir list and the user will select a game and it will execute the correct game command.
Example: GAME_COMMANDS= [ ('SNES','snes9x -stereo -joydev1 /dev/js0 -joydev2 /dev/js1' ,'smc fig'), ('NES','fceu-sdl -sound 48000 -fs -xscalefs 2 -yscalefs 2 -joy1 0 -joy2 1','nes'), ('Playstation','epsxe','bin iso') ] It would be advisable to add some good examples of game commands like for mame. Something to come later would be support for game images in zip files or autodetection for psx (etc) game cds. Maybe, freevo wants to use something like this http://www.dribin.org/dave/game_launcher/ Tony ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email sponsored by: Free pre-built ASP.NET sites including Data Reports, E-commerce, Portals, and Forums are available now.
