Did you try also passing the width? I'll patch the tvtime plugin, but
since I don't have a v4l device anymore (only a PVR card, so I can't
use tvtime) I want to make sure it'll work if I always pass the output
geometry.

also, is 800x600 the configuration in your freevo.conf too?
