Attached is a patch for the tv.mplayer to use ChildApp2 instead of ChildApp and seperate thread (I was tired of waiting for mplayer to get killed every time).
If there is a reason for why this has not been done before, then please ignore :)
The patch also adds INPUT_1:9 events in event context tv and adds a method to get a specified channel in channels.py . This way the new tv.mplayer can browse channels with the keypad too.
