I finally got DirectFB (0.9.20) setup and working on my new test system (using a G450!). Also, download the 1.5-rc4 freevo, and booted it up, and I must say that it is very impressive looking over 1.4 which I currently use on my 2 other HTPC systems! Great work guys! But now comes the problem I am having with freevo & directfb. I have set in my freevo.conf "display = directfb" And when I go to play a movie, all I get is a black screen, and no video / audio comes out. Pretty much the same problem as the poster below had back in March.
I am curious if this has been fixed, and I have missed the details on how to fix it, or if "display = directfb" is still not supported by freevo.
