Hi all,
vbi2srt has been updated to include some fixes for teletext pages
that include both normal pages and subtitles on the same page number.
Also included is a
freevo-1.5.4 record server plugin that will generate subtitles as a
program is recorded. This plugin goes into the
/path/to/python2.3/site-packages/free/tv/plugins (usually /usr/lib or
/usr/local/lib).

Changes include:
Added colour support (MPlayer does do anything with colours, the
subtitles are displayed as white)
Fixed a problem with broadcasters that like to transmit normal
teletext pages along with subtitles.
Changed command line options, replaced the --duration (-T) option to
-M for minutes and -S for seconds, freevo times things in seconds.
Removed the --font command line option.
The *next* release will include support for VPS (Video Signal
Programming), this will start and stop recording when the program
detects a VPS signal and
the start time matches the VPS signal. The command line option --vps
<time> will enable this functionality. Usually the start time is the
same as the VPS strart
time but not always, the broadcasters teletext pages usually give a
VPS time.
Cheers,
Duncan
Nice stuff, given that my start times are often not correct the VPS
detection will be great, many thanks :)
I should have this completed by the weekend....
