In my local_conf.py the two MPLAYER_VF options are empty for that reason. MPLAYER_VF_INTERLACED = '' MPLAYER_VF_PROGRESSIVE = '' The command line that freevo constructs out of this contains -vf without anything usefull behind it. main.log: ChildApp.__init__(), pid=1306, app=/usr/bin/mplayer -autosync 100 -nolirc -autoq 100 -screenw 800 -screenh 600 -fs -slave -ao alsa -v -vo xv -cache 5000 -vf //media/Tv/Zapping_International_-_Das_Fernsehen_der_Uruguayer_20-10_0930.ts, poll=-1 This causes mplayer to crash: mplayer-stderr.log Option vf: //media/Tv/Zapping_International_-_Das_Fernsehen_der_Uruguayer_20-10_0930.ts doesn't exist.
