Hi all

Today, freevo-1.7.2 has been released, there has been a quite a bit of
bug fixing since freevo-1.7.1. The statistics show 4 additions, 1
deletion and 272 changes since 1.7.1 but these statistics are misleading
:) caused by running the code through the reindent.py tool.

The of the new features that have been added in 1.7.2 are:

Reminder main menu plug-in to display reminders.
Reminder idlebar plug-in to indicate when a reminder is pending.
The remind program home page is
http://www.roaringpenguin.com/en/penguin/openSourceProducts/remind

All sorts of uses for this plug-in, adding an anniversary may improve
the WAF.

A big thank you to Christian Lyra for these plug-ins.

Some of the updated features include:
Audio detached player to allow user configured event
Image viewer to exclude certain types of images be a regex (Dobes V)
MPlayer to allow multiple crop points (Andrew Flegg)
MPlayer to allow previous channel selection (Henne Vogelsang)
Recordserver to allow a tolerance for a favourite (Adam Charrett)
VLC plug-in for better integration in freevo (Pascal Schirrmann)

A big thank you to you all.

Some of the translations that have been updated and these are
Catalan translation by Paco Rivière
French translation by Pascal Schirrmann
Spanish translation by Gorka Olaizola

A big thank you to them for this work

This release has been intended as a bug fix release and there have been
16 reported bugs that have been fixed. The bug fix of most significance
for people who record from the TV are the fixes to the recordserver to
allow consecutive recording to record correctly.

The complete list of changes is at:

That's all folks!
Duncan
