Hi all,

I thought that I would have a go a adding cooliris support to the
webserver in Freevo-1. In case, you have not heard of cooliris it is a
plug-in for Firefox, etc that displays images as a wall of thumbnails
and you can scroll around the wall to find an image. Then clicking on it
allows a high resolution version of the image to be displayed and
clicking the navigation button at the bottom right it can go full
screen. The link for cooliris is http://www.cooliris.com/

There is a helper module mkimagemrss (freevo mkimagemrss) that generates
the RSS feed that is required to cooliris to work. The helper also
generates thumbnails and scaled and rotated images in two
sub-directories off the image directory. The size of the thumbs are, by
default, 256 and the images 1024x768. These can be changed in the
local_conf.py. If the images are very big cooliris take quite a time to
render them.

May be someone will find it useful.

Duncan
