Can you be more specific as to why you find it harder than the old layout? > The TV guide is an improvement with the show > name appearing at the top, might be good to go ahead give the > description too. Glad you like that bit. Putting in the description takes up a huge amount of screen space which means that much fewer channels are shown together making it harder and more time consuming to see what's on. The description is still available from the sub menu so I think that's an ok trade off. > Not fond of the change to the Music layout either. > The cover idea is nice, but it is really jarring having that sudden > change in the menus going from the Main to Music sub to a Music dir. > Woops, looks like I left the wrong view as the default. I added that cover album view but the old view is still there too. If you press d it will cycle through the skin layout options. I did similar updates to the video menu if you press d there you can cycle through them and choose the one you prefer. If you put in a tracker item for that one I'll change it back. > Not to mention the default icon looks like it is for a photo album. > True. I think I just copied the icon sets from one of the other skins (it was a while ago) and it looked a bit better. Geexbox had no icons when I ported it from freevo-2 so they're probably better than nothing but patches are welcome :) > Evan > John
