What does mminfo /dev/dvd say?

False is the default.

This is the first step.

Some DVDs are unplayable because the copy protection breaks the DVD
standard. I think that most of the UK DVDs don't use copy protection.
The last DVD I tried, the black knight, worked when I hacked libdvdread
to allow the error through.
