I think I prefer Tack's last proposal, because IMHO it would be better not to mix monitors and TVs. From Freevo's view it may not make a large difference how the picture gets on a screen, but the whole hardware setup is quite different. Also, LCD monitors without a separate receiver indicate different requirements towards TV/receiver integration in Freevo. BTW: In reply to James Trietsch you wrote: > 22'' 16:10 LCD: around 200 EUR > A _good_ 37'' TFT TV: around 600 EUR That's not how I recall the situation in local stores; although there are certainly some TVs for 600€ which are not too bad, *good* TVs (i.e. Full HD, maybe 100Hz, ...) seem to be more costly. I bought a 24" 16:10 LCD for 300€ (OK, it was the presentation sample, but you can get good ones for less than 400€). OK, your point was that it's not 10x the cost, but 3x, and I agree with you; it might even be more like 2x-3x. But that's still a multiplicative factor, and I would not be allowed to pay twice as much, no matter the screen size (in the end my wife would probably even consider that to be a downside ;-) ). -- Ciao, / / .o. /--/ ..o / / ANS ooo
