Oh, I also removed the black bars but I did not check it in yet. While we are at it, I have some problem with the video thumbnailing. When I start beacon-daemon, it works fine. If I start beacon-daemon from xinit the thumbnails only contain around 1/4 of the image and garbage at the rest. Does anyone else have such a problem with mplayer?
