Hello everyone!
First I want to congratulate with the creators of this beautiful project.
I have spent a good amount of hours trying to fine tune my freevo setup and
finally decided to ask for some help.
My /etc/freevo/freevo.conf says geometry 640x528 and tv pal.
fbset says
mode "640x538-55"
geometry 640 528 640 528 32
timings 39721 40 0 63 29 56 4
hsync high
bcast true
rgba 8/16,8/8/0,8/24
endmode
if I run "mplayer -fs -ao /dev/dsp1 -vo mga -screenw 640 -screenh 528
myfile.avi" the picture looks beautiful on both the pc monitor and the v
screen.
When I run freevo instead I just get solid green bars on the TV and flickering
picture on the pc monitor.
The only working solution is setting freevo.conf to 800x600 pal and leaving
framebuffer to 640x528. That works, but the picture results smaller than the
screen and is located at the top left corner.
What am I doing wrong?
