Are these all working?  If so, you have answered your own question, you
have configured bith menu commands oand you own custom commands for
mplayer..

I can't help with xine, i'm not using it yet.  My guess is for now you
will be configuring commands for mplayer and then they will be used for
xine. (as events only show the application type (eg video+key) not the
application, type, and key..
