I'm getting a smorgasboard or errors over here, fixed a few of my problems but a few are sticking around, and my lack of linux knowledge isnt helping them go away any faster. Mplayer works fine on my system, playing avis and mp3s. Its not the default cd player but cds do play using whatever rh9 defaults to. DVDs i havent tried yet. When in freevo and i attempt to play an mp3 i get the following error message: ERROR! Requested audio codec family [mad] (afm=libmad) not avaliable (enable it at compilation)
When this happens i lose mouse control (probably because freevo was maximized and brought to window when the error pops up. I have to ctrl alt delete and use the keyboard to log out, then log back in. The mp3 does play though. When playing divx movies, I get the same error, and as long as i dont do anything the movie and audio play fine, but in the top left corner of the screen. -Narf __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
