This I am sure has been asked, but I am having difficulty searching the archives. Can you use freevo with directtv? I mean I know I can hook the cable to the computer but if it does not go through the rca/directtv receiver all I get is static. And if I take the output from the receiver and plug it into my computer then I have to change channels with the directtv receiver, which means there really is no point in setting up freevo. So is there a way to control the channels with freevo? What does it require.
