this is actually quite nicely done. however, the drawback is that you are not actually mapping a browser on the filesystem. the share browsing part is done by the script which simply lists the available shares, but they won't actually be displayed in the /samba directory. also, you still need to know the server you want to access in advance. there is no host browsing facility. so freevo couldn't really use this, it's more something nice for the daily work in the terminal window.
