you need to copy your SDL libraries you recreated with dxr3 capabilities into the binaries runtime's location.
 
I believe there is a line about that in the wiki on getting the dxr3 working.
 
please let me know if after you get freevo's gui working if mplayer will work.  I'm currently stuck with mplayer not working inside freevo with the dxr3

I have 1.3.2 binary running fine with the dxr3, but 1.3.4 does not want to play.
 
Any ideas?
