I didn't work when I put it in /usr/lib/python2.2/play-linux2/ . I then tried to copy it to just /usr/lib/python2.2/ and presto! No more messages about cdrom not being loaded.
This is really strange. I am dead certain that I have not removed anything untowards. I have being installing things like mad though. Even so it seems unlikely that one of the installations would have removed this library. Maybe it's a new dependency for 1.4 ? Anyway; Thanks 1.0E6! Now if I only could understand why it tells me to update my MAME_DIR in local_conf.py (which is one big comment for certanties sake :), and then displaying "directory is empty", i'd be happy. The log file says that ; ---- Call MAME command : /usr/bin/xmame.SDL MameRomList has 4082 items. ---- And it worked great under 1.3.4. Also; I'm working on integrating the epsxe playstation 1 emulator. The emulator itself works well enough, but I'm not certain it can load games from command-line arguments. It's open-source though :-)= /Peter -----Ursprungligt meddelande----- Från: Dirk Meyer Till: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Skickat: 2003-09-24 21:48 Ämne: [Freevo-users] Re: 1.4.0-rc1 installation problem Peter Svensson wrote: > Thanks for the quick reply Dischi! That shouldn't be there. Do you have a file called /usr/lib/python2.2/play-linux2/CDROM.py? If not, take the attached file and let me know if it works then.
