Hi there.

I just moved the box running freevo to a 2.6.0-test kernel.

As you all probably know 2.6.x is know for great (that is small:)
latency even under very heavy load. My problem is with lirc.


I got a lirc patch  for 2.6.0-test11 from here[1].

It's a bundle of patches but I only applied the one with lirc.

The patch applies without errors and the resulting module
(lirc_serial) loads without complaints.

I get activity running mode2 and pressing random buttons. I can also
use irrecord.

lircd also starts without complaints and when I start irw lircd tells
me that a client has connected. But then irw won't produce any output.

I'm using lirc 0.6.5 from debian stable.


Any ideas what might be wrong?
