Hi there. I just moved the box running freevo to a 2.6.0-test kernel.
As you all probably know 2.6.x is know for great (that is small:) latency even under very heavy load. My problem is with lirc. I got a lirc patch for 2.6.0-test11 from here[1]. It's a bundle of patches but I only applied the one with lirc. The patch applies without errors and the resulting module (lirc_serial) loads without complaints. I get activity running mode2 and pressing random buttons. I can also use irrecord. lircd also starts without complaints and when I start irw lircd tells me that a client has connected. But then irw won't produce any output. I'm using lirc 0.6.5 from debian stable. Any ideas what might be wrong? alex http://warder.ath.cx:81/projects.php -- Alex Polite http://plusseven.com/whoami ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: SF.net Giveback Program.
