I've been trying to get mame to run under freevo without much luck
Mame works fine running standalone within X - I can start it up and play
with no issues, however I cannot find any of the roms when using freevo.
For reference, my DIR_GAMES is:
DIR_GAMES = [ ('MAME', '/home/smylie/xmame/roms', ('MAME',
'/usr/games/bin/xmame.x11', '-fullscreen -modenumber 6','', None )) ]
In '/home/smylie/xmame/roms' there are about 70 roms. These are mostly
in zip files, but I've unzipped a couple and placed them in subfolders
to see if that made any difference (It didn't).
My rompath in .xmamerc points to this same directory (not sure if this
is needed).
./freevo setup detects xmame ok, and the Games entry appears in the
menu.
Under the Games menu, there is a MAME entry, but under that there are
only the few folders I've unzipped some of the roms into. When I browse
into these directories, freevo states they are empty.
I've tried playing with my DIR_GAME as I assume this must be the
problem, but to no avail.
Has anyone got any thoughts as to what I might be doing wrong here?
