Hello,

I am currently building a tv server using CRUX. I want a working
setup with freevo that uses as few space as possible because I
don't like bloat. I just checked df -h and found that my setup
still uses 200 megs of data. Thats pretty much for a "frontend" to
mplayer :-)

One of the problems is freevo itself. it takes up 50% of the space.

My question. Can i remove all those .py files if i have the
corresponding .pyc files?
Is there a possibility to build a static freevo with all
dependencies built in so that I don't need python anymore? Python
itself takes up 25megs of space, not to forget all those needed
modules which give another 25megs.

Thanks for your help
