alas still no audio with recordings. Hardware is Pinnacle PCTV Rave (saa7134) and sound card is SB Live (patch cable from tuner to sound card line in).
I also have an saa7134 card, wich came with an audio cable to connect to the sound card, but my audio was very bad quality. I finally found out, that the cable is not needed at all, I was able to get the sound directly through PCI. I had to load the module with oss=1 as an option and then the audio in device was /dev/dsp1. The sound quality is much better now.
