Hi Dirk,

i want to use MPD to control the music part of freevo and
didn't find anything abou that. Both systems lock /dev/dsp
so that i can't use both in paralel.
What is mdp and what do you want freevo to do with it?

MPD ist the music player daemon. It play's the music like freevo on one pc, but can be controlled completly from another machine. I want to control the machine from a PDA under WindowsCE. I have a Handheld device called Simpad and it has a resolution of 800x600. I think it is one of the coolest thing to control the music. im writing currently an MPD-Client for CE for this device.

Nonetheless, i have solved the audio problem yet.
I switched the "Should freevo control all audio" to FALSE.
Now MPD and freevo can run simultaniously (Im executing
freevo as daemon). Of course, the can conflict and it is
not really perfect (freevo should be a MPD-Client), but
it works for the beginning.

Best Regards,

Carsten
