Below is the output. Unfortunately I don't have a commercial DVD to test with, only one made on a commercial DVD player machine. I did test over the weekend with a hired commercial DVD and the only difference that I can see is that the commercial DVD do not produce the errors seen here. I will see if I can get another commercial DVD and try lsdvd with the extra options. --<snip>-- lsdvd -v -n -a -s /dev/dvd libdvdread: Using libdvdcss version 1.2.8 for DVD access *** Zero check failed in ifo_read.c:324 for vmgi_mat->zero_3 = 0x00000000010000000000000000000000000000 *** libdvdread: CHECK_VALUE failed in ifo_read.c:974 *** *** for n % 4 == 0 *** Disc Title: DVD_VIDEO_RECORDER Title: 01, Length: 02:50:38.100 Chapters: 33, Cells: 161, Audio streams: 01, Sub pictures: 00 VTS: 01, TTN: 01, FPS: 25.00, Format: PAL, Aspect ratio: 4/3, Width: 720 , Height: 576, DF: ?
