Hi. I have a freevo box controlled only via lirc. When I'm watching a movie, no problem, mplayer disables the screensaver. But while listening to music or seeing photos, the screensaver is active. As I have no keyboard or mouse, my only chance to go back to freevo is starting mplayer (tv, dvd...), but blindly, of course. Xscreensaver doesn't seem to listen to the serial ports, so I have a problem. Even deinstalling xscreensaver doesn't work, as X blanks the screen after some time, and this is a feature I don't want to miss. Is there any way to create artificial events with the remote crontol, in order to avoid this situation?
