Howdy ya'll,

I have been running 2.0 for quite some time now (i should probably update from CVS), but I have only used it for pictures and music. Now, I am trying to play movies and am having a perplexing problem.

Music plays fine; pictures function correctly. I am using directfb / pydirectfb.

When I select a move from the movie menu, the screen fades out and nothing happens. I wait ten seconds or so, and press 'esc' and the freevo menu fades back in.

After checking ps while in this hung state, it appears that mplayer is running or at least trying to run (for some reason, there is like 5 instances loaded). Anyways, I have cut and pasted that command from main-0 into the command line and mplayer functioned perfectly.
