Well- Just managed a build and test with out smpeg. Yup it does not seem a required Dep. Everything appears to work as expected with out smpeg installed. Numeric on the other hand is required by Freevo itself. It fails to run with out it, also claiming to need a pygame version built with Numeric. Updating the wiki to reflect this.
