Just last night I've had a problem with the record server in 1.7.0-rc1 that
may be related: I programmed a show to record from 22:00 to 23:40. As I have
set TV_RECORD_PADDING_PRE to 300 and TV_RECORD_PADDING_POST to 600, the show
had to be recorded from 21:55 to 23:50. Although the recording started at
21:55, the record server killed mencoder at 22:49. But the log seems to be
correct (except for the end of the recording):

Till now, I've been recording without problems, even with this release. I
don't know which is the problem.
