So if I understand this right, it's simply a bar which tell's you what
function is under what colour key?
Could be very handy indeed when using a remote.

The idea is to present the user with a list of easily accessible options with
out having to know that first they have to 'enter' the currently selected item
before they can for example delete a recording or randomly play all music files
etc.
I'm also think for the TV Guide adding Jump to -12 Hours, -6 Hours, +6 Hours,
+12 Hours to make navigating the guide easier.
The reason I decided to implement this is freevo is my TV, I do everything from
watching TV to movies or playing music with it. But I tend to forget what
'special' functions I mapped to the color keys on my remote. This also mean
that my wife has no idea what these keys do as well!
At the moment she is quite happy with freevo (which is a lot of praise believe
me!), but anything I can do to make it easier to use the better.
