Theoretically possible.  There are ADD2 cards (for Intel GMA) that
provide HDMI and IIRC have a connection to the audio header on the
motherboard.  I read a thread on a forum where someone was trying to get
it to work and there was apparently some limited success but they
eventually discovered a hardware problem with the ADD2 card from Prolink
(which was reported and might be fixed by now).

I guess the practical answer is no, not yet.  But the audio stream in
HDMI is of no use to me.  Video goes to the TV, audio goes to the
amplifier. :)
