I guess this is directed directly at whoever maintains a gentoo overlay in svn (I just noticed that!!)
Anyway, I just want to find out more about this overlay before I dive headlong into it (actually already did :-0) Gentoo bugzilla has a freevol ebuild in http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=156497 which I'm using right now, but due to the bug in kaa which was not in the release package (the thumbnailing bug which was highlighted in the mail list in May 7th) I'm pondering if/how I can go about getting it back.
