Hi,

I'm playing with this setup now and I've finally found this [1] config
line to get a fullscreen xine display at 1366x768. I was missing the -r
anamorphic. This seems to give me a decent quality image that fills the
screen. Using -r auto or leaving the -r switch out completely (xine
should autodetect anyway?) gave me a 4:3 picture that only filled a
small portion of the screen.

I'm sure some more tweaking may turn up some improvements. If anyone has
experience with this setup and with deinterlace settings etc. could you
please post them here? There didn't seem to be anything in the wiki or
users list on this so hopefully we'll save someone else from a few hours
googling (yes I should have found that switch sooner!).

John

[1] XINE_COMMAND = '%s --hide-gui --fullscreen -pq -g -B --geometry
%sx%s+0+0 --no-splash -D -r anamorphic' % (CONF.xine, CONF.width,
CONF.height)
